FAQ
Question: Can you explain the difference between the films you offer?
Answer:
-Our cinematic 4-5 min highlight film, 8-10 min short film, and 15-20 min feature film are all set to music. This is the style of films you see in our film gallery. With these films, we pick the best moments of the day to tell a cinematic story. We’ll use some speeches and vows to narrate the story, but only the juicy stuff. These are the films you will share constantly with family and friends.
-Our “Full Ceremony and Toast” edits are documentary-style edits. These edits are straightforward edits of the events. We cut between each appropriate camera angle and use all of the natural audio for the ceremony and speeches. These edits are great for watching the event in its full nature just as it happened.
-If you want full documentation of the event, you can also add on extended full edits. This is an edit of the full ceremony, speeches, grand entrance, formal dances, cake cutting, and bouquet/garter.
Question: What’s your average turnaround time?
Answer: Our contract states six months, but currently, we average a 3 month turnaround time.
Question: Can we customize your packages?
Answer: Yes. All of the packages on our website are customizable. For example, you can choose our classic package, but add-on the live ceremony and speech edits.
Question: Do you guys go to the venue ahead of time to look for the best shooting locations?
Answer: We usually arrive at least an hour ahead of time on the day of the actual event. This gives us time to scout out great filming areas and become familiar with the grounds.
Question: How many cameras do you shoot with and what equipment do you use?
Answer: All of our packages come with 2 videographers, but we usually shoot with 3-4 cameras for the ceremony and reception. This allows us to get more angles and make more dynamic footage. We shoot with Sony HD-DSLR cameras that shoot in full 4k.
Question: How do we book you?
Answer: In order to book us, we require a signed contract and a 50 % retainer to reserve the date. The balance is due 2 weeks before the wedding.
Question: Can we buy the raw footage?
Answer: Yes. Raw footage is available for sale up to 90 days after the wedding.
Question: Do we have to feed you?
Answer: Yes. We work much better when we’re fed a hot meal 🙂
